No. Aegis Consulting provides advisory and evidence-preparation services. We do not give legal advice, represent clients before USCIS, or file petitions. Your licensed immigration attorney handles all legal work and the filing itself. We prepare the evidence and the argument drafts; your attorney reviews, edits, and is responsible for the final filing.

No. EB-1A allows self-petitioning, so no employer sponsor or labor certification is required. Your attorney will confirm the right category for your situation based on your record, goals, and timeline. EB-1A is not the only route, and for some profiles EB-2 NIW or O-1 may be the better path.

Many strong candidates start there. We can build a multi-month roadmap for adding qualifying evidence over time, such as peer review work, publications, invited talks, professional memberships, or committee roles, before you file. Some profiles are better filed 6–18 months from now than filed too thin today.

Yes. We regularly coordinate with the client’s chosen attorney, and our workflow is designed to fit around the attorney’s preferred brief format, exhibit structure, and filing schedule. If you do not yet have an immigration attorney, we can introduce you to attorneys who regularly handle EB-1A petitions.

No one can. USCIS decides each petition on its own evidence, and results vary by officer, service center, and the specific state of the record. Our job is to make your evidence as complete, organized, and clearly argued as it can be. Nothing on this website is a guarantee of any particular outcome.

If the evidence is already in hand, 8–14 weeks from engagement to filing is typical. If we are also building new evidence — publications, peer review, memberships — the horizon is usually 3–9+ months, set by the slowest deliverable. We set a target timeline at engagement and surface risks early.

Our deepest experience is with engineering, applied research, technology, operations research, supply chain, and senior technical and business leadership profiles. We have worked with profiles across STEM generally and can refer attorneys in other specialized areas where appropriate.

Yes. RFE response support is included in full retainers. For petitioners whose original filing was prepared elsewhere, we also offer standalone RFE exhibit and outline support, working with your attorney on the officer’s specific points of concern.

Consultations are conducted by video or phone. We work with petitioners located anywhere, always in coordination with a U.S.-licensed immigration attorney who is responsible for the legal work and the filing.

With a short, no-charge consultation call. We then send a written assessment proposal or a full-scope retainer proposal, depending on what the call suggests. Work begins after the written agreement is signed and the retainer is processed.
